Had an itch to make a sort of non-standard dragon. It features the new dragon base! (I'm taking base sales! http://www.furaffinity.net/view/19495013/)
It also forced me to make some antlers :> Quite excited about implementing those in future projects too.
This is a resin base, features pheasant feathers. All aspects made by TheFurCollective
Following eyes/Moving Jaw
No plans to sell this one anytime soon, unless I get a really nice offer!
Thanks!

This was done with airbrush paints, which I believe are basically acrylic paints :) Most acrylics have a gloss finish, that's what you want, as opposed to 'matte'. I would recommend something with either a medium or heavy body, meaning it's more on the thick side. You want good stuff which won't be translucent or have very little pigment. If it turns out that the paints you use don't have the finish you like, you can buy a varnish to coat the paint job with (I would recommend doing that anyway, so the paint won't scuff so easily) and that varnish should specify what kind of finish it has (they range from matte to gloss) The paint job just needs to be thin in order to keep the detail. ^^
It's working! I just realized something - I was driving through AZ recently and my car said it was 118 degrees, I live in NM which isn't much better, I've had packages with 'do not expose to heat' show up pretty toasty. Do you think it will be okay mailing it this (awful) time of year?
Packing peanuts and bubbles help to keep the heat away from the masks, but I wouldn't trust having it left by the carrier on a porch for a long period of time. If you are able to have someone be present for the time it is shipped, that would be best. I will do my best to make sure that it is packaged safely and in a way that it won't overheat, but a lot can happen between me and you depending on the care the carrier takes. I ordered a DVC mask of the same material last summer, and it seemed to make it just fine (even after being in my metal mailbox for the whole day xP).
