Outside the main hangar were two of the best aircraft the RAF had, the famous V-Bomber the Avro Vulcan B.2 which participated in the Black-Buck missions over the Falklands in the 80's. The other was (and probably still is) one of the most advanced recon and Strike planes ever built, however the goverment scraped it, the RAF never trusted polotics again!
