I like the dark to light progression from bottom to center, and the yellow crown to the violet purple background and feather highlights. This is lovely :)

We have turkey buzzards here in SC. Do you have them in Colorado? They are a little nicer than vultures, but not much, esp when you hit one with your car.

Fantastic job. Great color pallete and terrific use of light too.
The Mood kind of reminds me of some of the artwork from the old Werewolf: the Apocalypse stuff (Silverfang for some reason?)
