Cats are like 5 year olds

I once made a huge box castle for my cat. It was held together with these little brass brads (pins that fold), and it was taller than me and featured skybridges, tunnels inside, and many more interesting things. It was a feline wonderland! She loved it very much and spent most of her time in it.

And then one day, I'm sitting at my computer and I hear 'scratch scratch ... scratch scratch ... thud. scratch scratch ... scratch scratch ... thud'.

My cat was actually pulling out the brass brads from the inside, and because it was so complex I couldn't fix it, she was doing it in base sections that were long "overgrown" by other bits.

One day, the whole thing just came apart in one mighty thump and you've never seen a cat freak out quite like that since she was inside when it happened :D It was both hilarious and sad, but kinda what she gets for destroying her own paradise.
