You can't bring guns into a courtroom, not even if you're the cop guarding it ... at least that how it was when I learned it
and I believe British cops are barred from guns under a really old law that prevents them from becoming too army-like
Though I agree, a reaction is expected even without an order

Okay, so let's look at the story so far. Gemma starts to have these weird dreams about her early family. Rasile has intimated that it's more than dreams, they're memories. Zee has semi-confirmed this. So, her brothers are somehow actually communicating with her, maybe, and bringing her these memories. Is Zee and Rasile dead, and somehow communicating from beyond the grave to save their sister from something we don't know about yet?
Gemma has a dream about being in court, and being humiliated and being put in diapers and treated like a baby, and now, she is in that same court with that same judge and Fiona (I don't know what Fiona is in this regard). Where did Gemma come up with this information in her dream? How is it possible she dreamed the judge, Fiona, the court room, and Souffle (whom we haven't seen yet in this scene) in such exacting detail? Was the dream given to her from somewhere outside of her?
Obviously, things are going on in Gemma's life that would make you think that she was having a nervous breakdown, but, what aren't we seeing?
Only one Squigglynx knows for sure.
As to losing her job, it's possible, but a nervous breakdown makes for a very good defense in preventing it, although she may not be able to do any more court cases. Also, if she's a civil servant, as a prosecutor, she may be protected under law from being fired. Her case would need to be reviewed. But, for now, she needs to get out of the hospital first, and unless Paul attempts some sort of 'jailbreak', I don't think she's going to be going anywhere soon. I hope that she can contact Dr. Kitsune soon to get his input into her issues.
However, all in all, I think she's going to be in the hospital for a couple of weeks, at a minimum. That would be the way it would be done here in the U.S., in a situation like this. It would be an involuntary commitment, and she would not be ALLOWED to leave until her doctors were sure she was not a danger to herself or anyone else. I'm sure it follows the same lines in the U.K. In fact, Section 2 of the Mental Health Act will allow involuntary commitment of up to 28 days in the U.K. The Security team could have used their 'Place of Safety' provision within the Act to bring her to the hospital in the first place. Dr. Nick just needs a Section 12 doctor to help keep her there. I wonder if Dr. Kitsune is Section 12 approved.

I do believe the pills Gem got from Dr.Kitsune caused her to hallucinate instead of suppressing her dreams which was what Dr,Kitsune intended to do. Also in the nightmare we do see somebody walk out but here's the thing. What if that wasn't Souffle? What if that was her dad Jack who was walking away? After all he wanted Nicole to abandon Gem after he denied her to the point he called her a thing and it.
The ONLY reason I say it was Souffle was because he was identified as Souffle in the description of the page. But, I agree, we don't really know if it was Souffle or Jack. Furthermore, at that time, she had enough dreams/memories of being Gem that she SHOULD have recognized him as her 'Unka Souffle', or so I would have thought.
We have yet to see if he was in her description of what happened that day in the courtroom.
As to the medication she got from Dr. Kitsune, it's possible it was just a sleep medication to help her sleep, which of course would have facilitated REM sleep, which is where we dream.
Toddlergirl sweetie, how many graphic artists have this much discussion over their stories, this must breaking it down, looking at every little bit of the story, trying to figure it out. YOU, my dear, have it with TWO stories, between you and
BabyStar

We aren't done yet, she fights the Constables, too, if I remember correctly from the news story. Remember, she's taken extreme sports, which I believe includes self defense sports. I can't find the exact page, and maybe I'm confusing it with Shine, but I thought she did some martial arts, as well.
Well we had been told she'd had some sort of violent breakdown in court, and here it is ... at this point I think her career is a goner unless she can get some doctors to show that there was some kind of temporary issue in play (I'm thinking those pills ... or childhood issues coming to a head ... or possibly something else). It's still quite unknown why her dreams started showing her her lost childhood in the first place, and it's uncertain why she's been hallucinating elements from her dreams while awake. And I'm pretty sure she's not dreaming all of this, because we saw Paul in his home by himself. What's freaky is that the judge and prosecutor are the same ones as in her dream -- or are they? Maybe she's only seeing them as the same.
Gem you need to remember what is a dream and what is reality.
Dreams often put people in diffrent light and everything is a lot more diffrent. Security will be unlikely to change you
(though I wonder what that would be like if security would change you)
Anyway I love the furry police man or woman on the left

I meant to say this way earlier in the series, but I didn't realized FA had logged me out; I've been waiting so long to read read the rest of this comic since the sun stopped at the first time we see Gem's mom.
In relationship to this specific page: poor Fiona. Just trying to be helpful unlike nightmare Fiona and she gets socked in the face. Also contrary to Gemma's beliefs, Paul wasn't the one to ruin her career. Ultimately, she was.
