It's probably because I'm a shy guy, but I felt intrigued by the Tawny character. But she has more guts than I. (I would be too shy to even consider asking a girl out)

But I digress. This is an excellent piece! I could feel the tension building as he remembered the map and even more when he stopped at the derelict building. And even more so, I'm eager to find out what happens next!

*chuckles* You're the fifth person who wanted me to continue writing this, even though it really was my /first/ attempt at anything horror/suspense based. I usually like to write about magic and fantasy stuff. XP

Ah well. I'm going to try to continue this. Everyone seems to want it. XD Somehow I keep thinking Tawny should be a ghost hunter or something on the sidelines. *thinks*

You really think she should? I'm not sure about that. She seems to be too timid. Someone whistled at her and she ran away blushing like a raspberry. I think she would be too nervous to even think about walking in the vicinity of a haunted house.

*chuckles* My brain's thought up twists it isn't even telling me, I'm sure.

I look forward to the next installment, myself! There are a few spelling errors and the description is a bit spare, but the "Something's not quite right" moody dreaminess of this kind of reminds me of Silent Hill for some reason. That can't be entirely a bad thing, as that film was creepy as all get out.

Something nasty is around the corner, I'm sure.
