Football Cubs episode 40 - We are the champions!
Woohoo! Yay! Leicester City are the champions of the Premier League!
Football primer: Leicester could only draw with Man Utd at the weekend, but then Spurs could only draw with Chelsea - so the gap between them remains at seven points, and now there are only six to play for. So Leicester, unexpectedly enough, are the champions, with two games still to go! As their eccentric manager Claudio Ranieri likes to put it, "Dilly-ding, dilly-dong!"
A lot of other teams still have prizes to play for in the remaining games. Newcastle, Sunderland and Norwich have a fierce fight to see who'll avoid relegation. Tottenham aren't yet safe in second place, with Man City and Arsenal playing each other this weekend in a decisive game in the race for the top four spots. Man Utd and West Ham are still in the chase.
After the season ends, we have the FA Cup Final between Man Utd and Crystal Palace, and also the finals of the European competitions which might each involve an English team. On Wednesday and Thursday this week, Man City play in the semi-finals of the Champions League and Liverpool in the semi-finals of the Europa League.

Awww shucks and we were close for a lil while. OH well top four's pretty good! Plus other stuff to maybe win and even if not yay lots of fun and maybe a vacuum would work better on carpet.
