This is why I usually save him for last, because he usually turns out best. I guess I just have to make everyone I draw after him try a little bit harder in their posing!

(Mostly) Suave, charistmatic, attractive, and playboy half-demon Kappa Celestein (also goes by Kapav`ra, his demon name). For his own reasons he's laid his playboy past to rest.

I had a lot of fun drawing him, as I always do. My only concern is these crazy hair highlights. This was my first time attempting to do them with Kappa, and if you can't tell they're ALL over the place. (I may edit this again later digitally if I can find a way I like them.) For some reason Lionel's hair was just easier to put highlights in. Perhaps because Kappa's hair is more unruly, and I really want to give that vibe (I didn't, ahaha)... This is going to have to be a part of my art I practice more.
For Kappa, I focued a little bit more on making his expressions more vibrant. He has plentiful emotions and reactions, and tends not to be limited much by his past when it comes to expressing them among certain company.

My favorite face is the one in the bottom right corner. I tried to make him smiling normally, and he turned out to look super, duper unnatural. The more I looked at it, he looked downright creepy. I imagined him smiling like this after being told, "You should just smile like you always do!" Not having ever thought of it, his eyes go wide and he smiles... and is kind of like, "Like this?" No, Kappa. Not like that. But thank you.
