That one didn't take that long - maybe an hour and a half...
I used bristol board, which can handle liquid media to a point, but it will buckle under heavy watercolors. I manage to use light watercolors, acrylics, and of course the coffee on bristol with minimal fuss =). Bristol board is not exactly board but a very thick paper ... Illustration board would probably be even better as it handles liquid media like a dream, and is rather thick and sturdy - but it has to be custom cut and comes in very large sheets. I normally use that type for oversized pieces. Okay I'm getting a bit verbose ^.^... I think its time for me to go to bed
