A little piece I did to challenge myself to see if I could work with markings decently. I'm quite proud of how these came out! And I managed to get them to fit perfectly XD I'd intended to make them, and then auction them off because I didn't want to waste time on my own things when I should be making things to sell, but I fell in love with the fit and so... well... I guess i'm keeping this pair ^^; I didn't intend to when I started out though *laughs*
The yin yang I chose because it was a detailed pattern (though not exactly a proper 'marking' so to speak, and it held a pretty nice symbolism for me at the time.
I did up the pattern reference myself and all of the pattern is actually hand-sewn in - even the little circles. I used a light silvery sharpie around the edges of the yin yang to emphasize marking itself so the edges weren't white-on-white, but nothing else on it was colored.
I trimmed the extra furry whisps off of the edges so that it had a much cleaner appearance also. I may post one of my in progress pictures before I trimmed it up to show the difference of the before and after.
I have been thinking of trying to add claws to a pair of paws of mine, and still sortof want to add little stubby black claws to these, but I keep thinking of them as my furry gloves rather than paws right now and i don't want to experiment with claws on these as they are my pride and joy right now XD
I'm still so happy I managed to make them ^.^ A nice learning experience and now I can feel confident i am at least capable of intricate markings! Even if they're tedious little things XD
I forgot to upload this since I finished it way back when ^^; (I think way back before Christmas so... a decent bit ago)
Constructive Critique would be welcome ^.^;
