They're an albino raccoon w/ little red parasitic wings.

The wings get their colour from the hosts blood, they attach themselves as little plant like growths that eventually grow into full size wings.

Once they start growing they're nearly impossible to remove from the host. It's extremely painful but super pretty! In most cases they can cause blindness or neurological damage.

Despite it all the host is not able to fly with them, but eventually can fully control them as another extension of their body.
