So I've started myself on a project of studying various animals and learning to draw them from pictures alone. I've always been a dog and dragon person so I've never really branched out from there. If I did it all looked like a dog.

So here is my practice run on one of my favorite animals and base to my fursona, the small spotted genet.

I have a tough time drawing their ears, I've always been very partial to long and pointed ears so rounded is a bit hard. I've also never drawn so many angles on a face before. It was actually a lot of fun. Aside from the fact that the ending product more resembled a chihuahua. XD Oh well we live and learn.
