Yeah, the guys who drive those things are terrifying, but what
makes them look like they're owned by pedo's?

usually its the music playing from the truck which around me sound like really bad recording on a MP3 being played over a cheep speaker, and the stickers look sloppy and not put on the truck neatly, some arnt even on a white truck which for some reason makes it even creepier to not have the Good Humor Ice creme look D: and no offense to anyone who does this for a living but having these elements makes you look very very shady which is why I use to always keep an eye out when these off brand Ice creme trucks would cruse my Cal-de-sack, since the kids in my neighbor hood dont always have parents watching them as they play outside.

Stephen King had written a book where the villain, a man who sadistically ran over people in a Mercedes, had a job as an ice cream man. And also as a generic Geek Squad guy. So once more, King writes from life.

King's books were always so intriguing and he always drew inspiration from things lots of
people tend not to think too much into like hotels and ice cream trucks~
Too bad his movies aren't that good. XD

He also took ideas from those "Have you seen me?" pictures on the back of ads and stuff, and of all the random and horrific violence that occurs frequently. Guy knows how to blend reality with fiction and do it to scare the pants off of us. Revival, especially, is positively HORRIFYING towards the end.

Exactly, when it came to the written word the man was a genius, although he did have his fair share of predictable and overused tropes which took their toll after a few books.

True, very true. I'm sure you've seen the Nostalgia Critic's review of It, and makes a drinking game of it, specifically "Maine". He's s**t-faced by the midway.

I have indeed seen some of the Nostalgia Critic's reviews of Stephen King films and he made alot of good points, for example, how King always likes to take a stab at religion.

Oh, he HARPOONS religion in Revival, I tell you. But he does it in a way that's horrifying, not just mocking. I do recommend giving that one a read; as far as the supernatural go, it's somewhat chill, but like I said, the end goes deep.

I have to agree with ya' there, a grey truck with cruddy icons on it and an unshaven man at the window isn't the most pleasant thing you want to see while eating ice cream. I have a few similair trucks like that who come near my street but if two trucks come at the same time (which happens alot surprisingly) they begin arguing at one another, scary shiz.

I can almost hear the bells on the crappy PA system.
