New reference for one of my characters, Rai! He hasn't had a new one in about 3 years so I figured it was time.

He's also changed a lot since his creation in early 2013. Not design wise- that's stayed the same. But now he is primarily a feral dog, not an anthro character (though he can shapeshift into anthro or human form). His personality is a lot more developed now as well.

He was a very old spirit that had been around Japan since ancient times. For the past 100 years or so he was in a dormant state - only to be revived in modern-day Japan and find himself trapped within a dog body. All of this new technology & ways of life have been quite a shock to him since!

Rai lives in rural Japan, mostly hanging around shrines hoping to get noticed (and fed). He will mess with people who don't give him attention, giving them light zaps or a bit of static. In extreme cases he might just follow someone home and give them a big surprise when suddenly their house loses power.

His favorite foods are sushi, yakitori, udon, matcha, and sake.
