Rebecca at Camp Talisa 16 - Water Fight, epilogue
Battered, sore and soaking wet, the opposing sides returned to being comrades for a fireside shishkebab dinner and complimented one another on a good game.
"Y'know, Rebecca," said Lyann, sarcastically as Rebecca strummed her guitar, "I haven't had a change to soak you back." Rebecca playfully rolled her eyes and went back to strumming, making sure not to disturb Cas, who had passed out on her shoulder.
"Well, I wish you good luck if you do soak her," said Cas, who stirred a bit, then whispered "You'll never know what she'll do." Rebecca looked down at her friend with a look of disbelief, then up at Lyann, who was flexing in her general direction making kissy faces at her.
"Oh you wanna go, bitch!" Rebecca joked, putting her guitar down and spreading her arms to egg Lyann on. "You don't wanna mess with a New Yorker."
Lyan laughed. "Yeah, so I heard. The mean streets of Massapequa! What did you do, hassle a Wal-Mart greeter??" Rebecca gave Lyann a 'Did you just go there?' sort of look. Sprinkles laughed.
"Oh please," they chimed in, "New Yorkers ain't the toughest, cuz they don't have the best pizza." They pumped their fists in the air. "CHICAGO! CHICAGO!" Rebecca whipped around at them.
"Oh, don't even think about going there!" Switch looked up from his kebab, confused by the turf war going on in front of him.
"Uhhh.... London? London?"
Sprinkles turned to face Switch on their right and started asking a bunch of questions about London, ending their little fake war that they were all too tired to actually take part in.
