Rebecca at Camp Talisa 17 - The Last Day
The last day of camp. The staff had set up activities all around the grounds, from nature walks to various games, but after yesterday, Rebecca decided to just take the place in while she still could. She found Cas and Lizy and the three of them strolled around at their leisure, chatting and enjoying the scenic camp ground. Settling near where some campers were fishing, the three sprawled out on the grass and just basked in each other's company, skipping the occasional rock or dipping the occasional toe into the water.
Nobody had to say it, but they all doubted whether not they would see one another once camp ended. That's how these things usually worked: your camp friends stayed your camp friends. Either of everyone was too spread out or the spark that brought you together would die. Everybody was thinking it, but nobody dared bring it up in fear of spoiling it.
"I don't wanna go home," Cas finally sighed, looking at Rebecca skipping stones on her left and Lizy hugging her knees on her right. Liz looked at the ground.
"I don't wanna leave you guys either."
Rebecca stopped what she was doing and looked at Cas and Liz, feeling her own fears boiling up in her.
"Hey," she said, forcing a chuckle, "We'll... we'll be in touch though, right? Facebook? Email? Texts? And... we'll all visit each other... right?" There was a certain uncertainty in her voice. Cas continued to look down as she started welling up.
"I hope so."
Liz pulled out a scrap of paper from her hoodie pouch and scribbled her number down twice, then tore it in half and gave each one to the others. "Here, both of you," she said, "We can call and maybe meet up?"
Soon the group was a flurry of scraps of paper and scribbling as everybody wrote down every possible way they could reach one another (Rebecca made sure to share her band's SoundCloud). The last day was happy again.

Of all of the camp stuff I had Rebecca do in this RP, this was probably the most personal.
