This is me at FC 09. Please note, I did not take this pic, but since I don't have any that I took myself, these are the only ones I have to submit. If anyone knows the photographer who posted these to dragonscales, please let me know so I can credit his work. TY.

Ohhh....you should have seen my first fursuit....BOMB!!!! A lot of fabric went into the garbage learning this stuff. If you're still in the learning stages, I recommend the bargain bins.....I am intimately familiar with them.
TY very kindly for the comment. I love playing Jo' and she had the time of her life at FC.

I don't, ever, comment on fursuits because it's not my thing. I was just clicking around and came to this, and I must say - as a past theatre geek, this is an amazing piece of costuming. I love how it's put together. Kudos on having a costume that doesn't make you look like some weird stuffed animal, it's put together really well. :)
I'm honored that a non-fursuiter would take the time to bestow such a kind comment on my labor of love. There are three other costumes that I wore to FC, but are not shown here.
They can be found at www.dragonscales.com .....go about half way down the page to FC2009. My costumes can be found on pages 12, 19, late 20's (27 or 28 I think) and the same with the 30's. If you like this costume, I'm sure you'll like the other three.
Thank you so much. Take care.

Did you make it? It's amazing. I just looked on that site, the different outfits for your suit are gorgeous. I seriously don't like fursuits (in the fact that they all look like overly plush, stuffed animal weird suits to me :C) but yours.. Is breathtaking. I spent my highschool time on creating costumes for plays and the like, and I worked on plays like Midsummernight's Dream, so I know costuming is a pain. Thanks for sharing :)
The only thing I didn't make was the bare head (no ear, eyelashes, headpiece or airbrushing). That was done by Clockwork Creature.
Everything else was designed and sewn by me over a period of eight months. The last one was finished three days before I left for FC. As I was working 11 - 12 hours a day six days a week, I was a little pressed for time. Now I'm making new headdresses for all the costumes and airbrushing designs on the fabric. I wanted to do this for FC, but just didn't have the time and I didn't want to start something and not finish.
Thanks again for the wonderful comments and taking a peek at the pics.
If you are interested in the stage, go to Youtube and search 'twisted trio tango'. I, and two friends of mine performed. I'm in the black and gold outfit. Our skit didn't turn out as well as I hoped, but we enjoyed doing it.

None could stop talking about you since the conclusion of FC and I can see why. The choice of a Saluki was definitely a most admirable choice and the attire greatly accents the benevolent creature's beauty. I do look forward to the day I actually get to see you in person, in and out of suit. I'm sure you must have lavished the attention.
As FC 09 was my first ever furry con, my head suffered a significant amount of swelling as a result of the non stop photos, hugs and comments. Not to mention the award I won in the masquerade. That aside, I love more than anything, suiting at children's events.
Thank you for the generous comment. I hope if we are ever in the same vicinity, I am wearing my suit and we don't merely pass each other by on the street.
Take care...*snugs*

I only go to AC & MFM since they are within my reaching vicinity due to a very good friend, though I do hope to one day visit the West coast. *Embraces* I do understand the paparazzi attention due to my great friend
at AC'04 & '05, though I do hope your next con experience is even greater.
In my area, there are Suiters that do involve themselves at family events and get quite a good turnout (So good that they drew more attention away from the other activities). I know those kids must love you a lot.

I have new wallpaper! But seriously, such an amazingly pleasant picture. The photographer did a great job bringing out the best in this outfit. I'd like to say that's about the tightest fitting most natural head/face I've seen, brilliant! I also am an ancient phart, do-it-yourself type who's just starting up making suits and what-not (life-sized plush are mrrr!). My curse is that I live so far away from all the fun and the action. *sigh*
I recall this beautiful suit from FC '09, and I can't believe I wasn't able to find this pic until now. *facepalms* I remember there were two photographer stages set up at FC and the one you're in looks like the Monocerous Studios one, but it was a year ago, so I might be wrong. Anyway, Monoceros Studios is
tugrik's baby. He may well have your pic on his site.
Man, I squealed every time I saw you in this gorgeous piece... Salukis and Afghans are such graceful dogs...

Thank you so very much for such a generous comment. I think this particular series was taken by Dragonscales. I have had trouble viewing that site, but if you manage to get a peek, there is a shoot for each of my four costumes that I took. FC was such a blast....had the time of my life.
Well, if it's a female character....jump over to my FA account. I have set up a gallery for all the femme suits.

On my watch list, now- and sent two links to images in my gallery of the partial I have of Murrah. Both links are to pix with other people- I'm the white dragon. Sorry that I don't have any images of her on her own. I've only got a head and tail, at the moment, but I'm updating her design and building her as a full suit soon. Look for a partial of Mona Rat in my gallery soon, too! Got the wig with her ears attached and I've got the tail in pieces, waiting to be sewn.
I will admit, (I saw your link in Vicki Wyman's saluki pic.) that this is the fursuit I ever saw, that I thought was a photomorph! Extraordinarily well done, and it's beautiful. But I'm so biased toward Saluki's and other sight hounds like them, that it could be a real looking fursuit, and I'd want it :).
