I like those boots! I would totally buy a pair!

I promise to keep updating my page with how the build is going. This will be my first attempt at any sort of costume building but I'm determined and looking forward to getting started....I have the time just wish i had the money to buy materials!

Are they going to be just motocross boots, or will they be more casual wear boots?

At the moment they are intended to go with a fursuit, though one day I'd like to ride my bike with them.

I wouldn't think they could be used for riding (perhaps to show them off in the right setting, vid photo just the once maybe) so I'd say just casual wear.

They'd make awesome snow boots, I think. If you get the right sole pattern, of course.

Eww wet soggy feet are not good, do it!! make them...i might have to consider making mine water-resistant, they 'should' be resilient than bare furry feet.

This reminded me that latex can be used to make paws; and then, the fur can be used on those like a pair of socks!!

I'll have to ponder making them from Latex...nice idea though I'm not sure I'd get them bulky enough, was thinking of using a combination of Styrofoam, plasticoat and rubberised lycra, with a bit of suede/Alcantara.

The Furr socks is a good idea though, pretty much the method i'll be using for my front paws. :D
