So I guess this is the part of the story where they try and bring their relationship out into public and find out that not only do some close minded people not approve of them being together, but these people will actively try to destroy their relationship for no reason other than their disapproval. Constant complaints to the chief, spray painting their vehicle, throwing stuff at them in public, seemingly random beat downs. Life can be hard when you're trying to break those chains of normality that try to bind everyone.

I can honestly see this happening. And it's sad :(

It's impossible to change public opinion without resistance, OR maybe I'm entirely wrong and when they come out nobody will care at all.

You should totally draw the "locked together" scene.

Then, he'd have to give up the PG-13 rating of this comic.

Can you just, like, draw Judy and Nick cuddling all the time? I cannot get over how adorable you make them look. The way her head just tucks right under his chin. It gives me feelings.
