Blanks that have been Genetically locked to Yinglet can vary quite a bit. This is due to how the host species of yinglets is subject/prone to high level/rates of mutations, this in turn has been transferred to this group of Blanks. now that they have been genetically locked to yinglets they have decided to call themselves Blinks.
More info is still being worked on, but one thing is for sure, they can be really different, this can even be seen in siblings with only twins looking similer. in case you didn't know, blanks always have 6 kids at a time, always 2 males 2 females and 2 delmale( they can end up different depending on their host if they aren't attached to the luther (delmale parent). I may color and add markings later. Will also move to scraps later. Enjoy. <^\/^>

Well, there is no mating between species to get the new genetic information, it's gathered through Delmale latchlings and in order for them to be genetically "Locked" they have to use the same species for over 14-16 generations or so as for latchlings they are stage 3 of this outdated info sheet http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6190963/ I need to redo there early life cycle but for now this still works visually, kind of, close enough.
Pezwolf has been asking a lot of questions and this was one of them, perhaps he's right, I'll have to do a FAQ or something. I'll set up something later. <^\/^>

Interesting. Their skull caps have the shell tooth built into it. I can now easily tell the difference in their 3 genders, however when comparingredients this trio against the Chasing Bolide character sheets for Pocket, Zev, and Nil, I am struggling to identify any yinglet specific traits. The yinglet style legs are al ready a feature of the Blanks, as is the part about being small and lanky. I do see a distinct stylization of each blanks head foliage, perhaps a trait of the high genetic mutation of yinglets, and I suspect that once these guys are colored, the fur pattern may give more of a nod towards that direction as well. I am really digging in the bottom right corner the semi transparent faces that also include yinglet esk ears with the blank skull.
Perhaps I am over looking a few yinglet specific features for this t?
And with regards to the notes, you mentioned that they would look different unless they're twins. Does this mean that a six pack of pups from the same litter are not sextuplets, but rather three sets of twins based on their gender? Which would mean that every blank has a twin right?

Wwwwwwelll. Are you sure you can tell the difference between the three sexes? A for the traits that are derived from yinglets that all (even the other 17 designs I was thinking of) ”Blinks” share are that shell shelltooth, exposed claws, an extra frill growing out of their shell above there eyes, at lest the seconds from the top frill growing more upright then normal, their pensive nostrils have become active and have moved up into there shells, and this will give you a 50/50 chance to guess witch one is male and delmale (witch this statement makes it easier to figure out which one is which, lol), the females have tail fluff 90% of the time, and one other verry unexpected trait. You see the two on the left, they're both over three and a half feet tall. They, for the most part, are much taller then normal blanks. normally when they have a ”small” host there size tends to average a few inches smaller, and vice versa for ”big” hosts. However this was not the case with the yinglets.
That is correct, every Blank , and subsequently most Ank species, are ”born” with twins. Oh yha, as for the markings, I can say, with only a few blank specific markings, they will end up as random as normal yinglet markings. <^\/^>

Ah, the finer details are being teased out!
So if Blinks are surprisingly taller than normal blanks and "normal" yinglets, do they inherit any added strength modifiers to that newfound height, such as being stronger than an average yinglet & blank? I.e. if you like picking fights with yinglets and blanks because they're easier to push around, you don't want to pick a fight with a blink because they're the bigger cousin that will push back? Or is it that they're all just as weak as their parent species? I assume that Blinks would have a higher speed than their blank parents (parents used on a species level, not family unit level), and would also have more spastic a.d.d. features than their blank ancestors, but it would be like a person who uses riddelin all their life to treat a.d.d. due to their Blank ancestory calming down their yinglet ancestory's mind.
Am I articulating my thoughts clearly or do I need to come up with a better similie or metaphor?

Wellllllllllll, There only a little stronger then normal blanks (I'll come back to this) but much more agile then normal Blanks. As for there strength. Blanks as a hole, are stronger then you'd think with the structure of there muscles. on average there as strong as an average 15 year old human. doesn't sound like much perhaps tell you take in how small they are. so for there size to the blanks they are "weaker" then they should be but still around as strong as a normal human, but they make up for that by being agile as fuck. there level of attention is on average more speratic then normal blanks but they can concentrate on thing better then most yinglets.
I believe your articulating your thoughts well, am I? <^\/^">
