Bought myself the third spyro game AGAIN. And I want to buy the rest as well.
Goth, the "real" Spyro serie was great, and is great.

The third one looks great! Really!

What games are their? And if it's not to much to ask, what order do they go in?

Well it's:
Spyro the Dragon
Spyro the Dragon: Gateway to Glimmer (us titel: Ripto's Rage)
Spyro the Dragon: Year of the Dragon
Spyro, enter the Dragonfly
Spyro, a Hero's tale
Spyro, a new beginning

excluding here the handheld titels.

All the titels were "plattformers" where you have to jump, glide, breath fire, run down enemies and collect stuff.
Mostly gems and Eggs or different important things to get further in the story.
The story was mostly comedy and not very deep or melodramatic, but it was funny.

These are, what i would call the "original" spyro games.
Since the legend series started, the whole spyro thing changed from a fun plattformer to a... uhm... well, hack and slay? DMC like?
Deep dark story, twists and new envelopments and such...
I won't say it's bad, it surely is good in fact, though, it just doesn't fell like a spyro game.

The PS3 version looks suupa different from the previous 2. The overall design took a turn! But...I'm sure it was necessary, as the PS3 version was PROBABLY more realistic looking. ^^

wow thats some thing. how you did ps1-3 ipersonly like the ps3 hunter. his new look says (yep i can kick your ass and look cool for the ladys ) keep it up

wow hum he goes from a cheetah ( he dosn't have tear stripes in the PS1 version) ok I will buy that with the graphics of the day. to a cheetah still missing tear stripes. ok people cheetahs have tear stripes and now in the PS3, he is a lynx/leopard thingy. like WTF cant people ever do research on the animals your creating. like I made a new character for a game a clouded leopard. I actually did research on social habits coloring and all of that. It really urks me to see stuffed animals where you take 2 animals and merge them together and call it one. as for the art great job. it looks really nicely done I just wish the company would really look into what there marketing and make it correct.

Um... it's in a made up world. It's quite possible he's a hybrid, being in a village of other hybrid cats. You have to assume along the way that, in real furry life, hybrids are not only a possibility, but a certainty. You just don't see it much because there aren't many 2nd gen furries, and generally they don't take after their parent, the furry community drawing from the creature you are most like etc.

Also, I'm fairly certain since, again, made up world; the creators prolly just had a basic idea in the beginning, and as they COULD make it look more awesome, he evolved!

This is so awesome! And so true. I have almost all of the Spyro games now, and yes, Hunter has has one of the most drastic changes. Wow.

He's some sort of cat? Ahahahaha, coulda fooled me. I never could figure out what he was when I played Spyro on my gamecube... PS3? is that right? What Spyro game do they have out for the PS3? Bah I SO need to get the rest of the series when he starts growing up... I only have the first game ;-;

I adored the first three Spyro games to death. D: I had the biggest crush on Hunter. WHY IS IT NOW THAT HE IS SEXIER THAN EVER?! T___T I need to go buy the new games..

I do realize that too. In the first game I couldn't tell what he was. All I can think of is a some sort of dog. But I found out that he is a Leopard in the PS2 version.

My favorite of the real Spyro series is A Hero's Tail, even though I don't own it.
I own all of the real series except A Hero's Tail and Ripto's Rage.

good memories, those games were very fun.

Hory shet! I never saw Hunter in his latest form. I have seen him in Ps2, but not 3...What a make over!
He kinda looks more Lynx than Cheetah though
