Original description when posted on DA on April 18th, the day after my birthday, my first birthday in my twenties single:

"2016... This has been an increasingly difficult year. The past few weeks even harder to handle. I've cried a lot recently... The most I've cried in years, years, years...

My depression, for years, has kept my feelings tightly locked up, replacing instead with a nothingness, a frustration, a helplessness. I hate it. I honestly prefer to cry. I just, how long I've been affected, affected others, before I could have some feelings again...

Well, the shell around my heart feels shattered quite a bit, feel pretty raw right now. Trying to stay positive, trying to get used to feeling again, and seeing what happens next, a day at a time. Hoping the tears don't mean I'm too far gone."
