This kicks off 1920's-themed submissions I'll do for June, fitting to the "Roaring Twenty" theme of Anthrocon 2016.

I'll probably turn this into my badge. Maybe an art deco "Swish" somewhere.

My goodness, the amount i would pay you to draw my character............

For real, i love this. The use of perspective is....phenomenal. The lighting, warm, inviting. GAH. Love it.

Thank you! It definitely adds to the difficulty (for me) when I'm doing orderly things in perspective. There is a more defined "right vs. wrong" for it. I'd say the stripes on the left wall were pretty much eyeballed.

<3! I almost forgot the whiskers, believe it or not! Whiskers and tails are always things I forget to do for some reason.

I can see tails, who knows what had happened to it... in the Blacksad comic universe most adults have no tails anymore. somewhere a fox shows up with a tail, and children have tails as well. so it seems adults have them removed for easier lifes.

but, whiskers? =0.0=

OMG you commented on the values <3 I went squee when I heard that. Thank you! Your anatomy and the way it interacts with the contrasting light patterns you create in your scenes is just so good. I was frequently thinking about your work when I was hashing this stuff in. Makes me want to eventually do some nudes.

What a handsome fellow! And how dapperly dressed. So 20s and 30s: I love that period, so anything that nods towards it instantly grabs my attention.
