Painted commission for xerion567 on DA. (For use as a cover for his song! Cool!)

Oh man what a fun painting to work on! I'd say around 5+ hours between a few days.
I'm still working on this style and finding what works best for me. I did a sketch and then toned in shading with black and white to help focus on the lighting first, and THEN I added color!
After adding in some highlights and refining the lines a bit, I merged everything and began the daunting task of painting over it all.

I naturally have a "clean" art style and I think this way of painting was really perfect for me!
Although I will experiment more with sloppy styles too, I think I really nailed this piece!
But any tips and critiques are of course ALWAYS welcome. ;)
