That's because he's misunderstood - well, might not be the best character as in "good guy" character but the one with the most potential for character development - with all the different layers he's compromised of

Ok, so he has faults - who doesn't? He's still the best all around char in the series, development wise and the one with the most potential as well

He's comprised almost entirely of faults, and that's the problem. Soulkat continually tries to paint Miles as a misunderstood "Nice Guy" type who can do no wrong, when the opposite is made clear every day. It's a huge stretch to say he's the best character in the entire series, and I wouldn't say he has the highest potential for development either.

But he can do wrong and he knows it even if the tries to deflect the fault on others at times - he's still the most interesting male character - and he has the potential because he might come around and actually own up to his faults - the other guys are just too bland imo

Only recently they have; to his credit Miles is, for better or worse, the only character we knew much of anything about for the longest time.

Idward's was actually explained quite some time ago, and Randal's backstory began before they started writing a proper backstory for Miles too. Before that, all we knew about Miles' past was that he's a college dropout who had a one night stand with Tiggs.

Ahhhh miles I hopes he has been a good boy.It wasjsut devastating when he and Taffy broke up. I haven't read the series in awhile but I'll get back to reading it once I remember which page I'm on. ^^
