But the evolution of Buizel assists in the rescue of drowning people and Fly did the exact opposite of that!
Kidding, kidding, this truly is the most fitting Pokemon for this little goober. I can also see him, Chuck, and Stella being in the Marill family.
Just watch out for Remoraid and Sharpedo.

Thank you!! While I could see Chuck and MAYBE Stella (though Azurill is normal/fairy) as apart of the Marill family, I cannot see Fly in it... They're too round and too blue to fit him all that well. At least to me anyway!

Joe really should've hit that B button and stopped his evolution in time...
It turns out that Buizel and Marill share an egg family so it is completely possible for a Marill and two Buizels to all be related. But yes, they are too round and blue to be Fly, I agree. I was gonna say Stella is a Staryu but they're too...creepy, emotionless, and monotone to be her.

I suppose that's true! Chuck could also be a Frillish, although it's not in the same egg group.
And I've also had thoughts on Stella being a Staryu. It really is unfortunate that it's so emotionless since it would otherwise be perfect for Stella... Though she could be a special Staryu?? Hm... Azurill works out pretty well too! The only thing that's undesirable about it is the color scheme... Maybe with this upcoming generation of Pokemon we'll find something more suited for her!

I mean they don't HAVE to all be in the same egg group, but it's really cool that basically you could, if you wanted to, make a reasonably believable pokemon family out of these guys.
It really is a shame there aren't really any star-themed pokemon out there that aren't Staryu or Jirachi, who is meant to be child-like, but it's really weird to be all "yeah Fly is a Buizel but his sister, his sister is a legendary".
And Bill as an Azumarill is all sorts of great. I dunno why I love this idea.

Ok but let's be real here, how precious would it be if Stella was Jirachi and this little Buizel did everything in his power to love and protect her? You can't tell me that's not adorable. Part of me doesn't care if that doesn't make sense, it gives me the feels.
But, again, we'll see if the new generation will come out with something better, since it's tropical/ocean themed and all.
