Aww, how lovely Lucia looks!
I realise this submission is most likely primarily to alert people to the commission openings, but I would like to give the announcement art it's due.
I like the pose a great deal. Makes Lucia look very beautiful, rather elegant... and that awesome hairstyle of hers just kinda makes it look a little windswept... as if catching the perfect moment this shark lady has turned around from her flowery grove to give us viewers a charming smile... a charming slasher smile, but a charming smile nonetheless. And then there's the 'full picture' level of detail you're adding here. I would be genuinely curious how long this piece ended up taking you to draw, because there's a lot of very fanciful elements in place here.
Maybe I'm just the kind of person that massively overthinks things [maybe? Haha! Good joke, me], but the way you've managed to convey in me a whole kind of 'scene', of Lucia in some kind of flowery glade away from the beach, that only she knows about... and she's perhaps invited us viewers along, whilst waiting there and posing... presumably in at least no upper clothing, from the looks of things... and all that from a portrait!
I have said it a few times before, I think, that your commissions have gone above and beyond in their style and the effort you're placing into them. The first two, you 'simply' poured in so much effort for the kind of price you were asking. And now here are these portrait commissions, with your great sense of stylistic backgrounds AND the addition of thematic accessories. Along with the fact they're full colour and shaded and all that great stuff too. Honestly, I really hope these go well for you. You really aren't an artist that is content to just stagnate, and I am predicting great things coming from these slots.
