Trying out something a little different. It's not at all what I wanted, but it was a good exercise. I pretty much told myself I'd try anything that came to mind, even if the technique seemed likely to screw up the picture. So.. even though it didn't turn out how I wanted, I learned a lot just fooling around.

I like it, it has that feeling that sumi-e paintings have (I think that's the one I'm thinking of) with bold lines and light colouration, they're fantastic for natural/animal pictures because they look so understated and soft.
