On that day, over eight years ago, a miracle blossomed forth. It was a route he had known for a while, by a place he loved to visit. It seemed like any ordinary day to him, but a young flower caught his eye that day; one that he hadn't seen before. As he passed by, something seemed to pull him back; an indescribable force, both gentle and intense. He passed by again, pausing briefly to catch a glimpse of the girl who caught his attention. She looked up at him in that moment, and their hearts pulsed in silent union; anxiety and curiosity swirling together between those fractions of a second. The soft silence was broken with the simplest of words and gestures as the young man greeted the girl.

In that moment, at the cafe, their lives changed forever.


...this was, indeed, a very special moment in my life. I met my friend, my lover, my sister, my soulmate, and my guardian angel that day, and all without realizing it at first. Emmy, you are more precious to me than I can ever try to describe, and sometimes I may not always be able to express how I really feel around you, but...I know that you know. You know me, deeper than anyone else ever has. Mere titles can never truly describe what we are to each other.
