OK HERE'S THE SCOOP! I commissioned
whiteraven90 recently to do a graphite tigress for my portfolio. A couple weeks ago, she sent me several thumbnail sketches to choose from. This one, http://sta.sh/0vezo4okots knocked my socks off and I just had to ask her if I could do a color pencil version and she graciously said yes. I really can't put words to how I feel about the piece but some of the comments on it will work.

You probably never heard the term "Knock your socks off". It is an old American term as far as I know. But I'm a really old American. :P
I like your stylized foot better, mine looks too plain. The rear one will end up being like yours though, especially love that one. The ribbons and dangly things on my stick were going to be done very similar to yours, the idea translated well. I hope my striping looks as good as yours, I have a tendency to make them too symmetrical. Love the tail stripes on yours, maybe the best I've seen. The face <3<3<3
Yes, I'd say your picture was received well, I noticed you picked up dozens of new watchers! :)
I'll be contacting you soon about a couple more to go with this lady if you are game.

I did hear it often, i just still find it funny. :>
I don't often draw stripy things, so i might not have a very well trained eye for them, but they look ok to me (there are not many to judge from atm). A little symmetry is healthy. :v
Okay, although i was planning to open commissions at the end of this month because i've been closed for more than a year. When people say "this summer' to me or something similar it usually means something like "next winter" or "next year"... :d
It's great if you don't follow that pattern, i just mean... i really need to offer some slots to some people. And i need to clone myself. I'm so sluggish.
