Part 1 here if you want to start from the beginning: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2006430
This is a live performance recording of the piece I put on for my senior recital, it's for 15 instruments and narrator. The narrator tells a story about a journey for magic, which is very much influenced by video games. The whole thing is 40 minutes long, I'm posting it here in pieces. The balance sounded great in the hall but the recording makes the levels a bit funny, especially with the narrator since he moves around during the story, so I'm posting the text of each section. The musicians were great to work with, they learned a lot of music in a very short period of time, it gets a little shaky in some spots but you can hear they get right back together again, only very good musicians can play something this exposed/difficult under the conditions they did, they're awesome! :D I hope you enjoy it, and please any feedback is greatly appreciated!

What a miserable place this is, there’s nothing here but mud, fog and trees gnarled in grotesque positions.
And there’s that old witch over there who seems to be unaware of anything around her.
(Witch voice) A reject, hmm? Well there’s a life ahead for you of sowing charms at least.”
“What, you think you were wronged? My child, in a place like Nes Vadi, this happens more than you think. Once you complete the journey, succeed or fail, you cannot go back and do it again. What’s done is done, think no more of it.”
“Oh, you truly are disappointed. Look, if you were to go back, and find a way for them to let you in when you weren’t ready, you’d still have to take one last test, which in failing could have terrible consequences.” (Looking over the character inquisitively) “But let’s see what spells you do have...”
Suddenly she’s grinning...
“You know, I think it may be wise of you to try again. Did he tell you what you were missing? Some stone spell?”
“I do not know which spell it is they need, but I can make stronger the spells you have now, and perhaps if you are right for it what you learn will be a seed.”
“Maybe, just maybe the a light in you will pull you to the exact spell they want, but it will be because of you, not me. Then you can go back to the guards of the order. Come to my hut, this will take quite some time...”
