Okay, I commissioned this piece partially because I wanted to do something for Independence Day, partially because I wanted to express my enjoyment of the Marvel film that came out earlier this year and partially because I haven't done much with Artemis in a while and wanted to show him some love. So, here he is, dressing up as yet another character from a different universe. I admit, I feel like Artemis actually has a few things in common with Steve Rogers: he's kind of a boy scout, he's a man out of his time, he regularly fights monsters that a normal human being would undoubtedly be unable to face under normal circumstances, he has a winged companion that fights alongside him in his struggles...Okay, he's not superhuman in the same sense as Rogers and he isn't really a representation of the all-American hero, but we can still pretend he is for the sake of the holiday, right?
