Not exactly how most fantasy stories begins, is it?

I had a lot of fun writing the dialogue for this page. One of the things I had a problem with though was trying to pick just one of the half-dozen or so ideas I had for the punchline to the "Well..." cliffhanger on page #1. I eventually let Karno pick which he wanted to write. Not such a bad choice was it?

One line I'm really like coming up with was the "Swift ride to the afterlife". I don't think I've ever heard anyone say that before. It just sounds so mean.

If you can point out a verifiable source where that line has actually be spoken, whether it's a book, movie or comic, you get 100 geek points.
