you not get it couse you don't understand or get it, KNight of the wind was use for Sonic and the Black Knight couse Sonic was made a KNight
Runnic is the Night couse the darkness in his soul that grows and he has to fight his dark side also Robotropolis is always night XD

Then he would be the Knight of Darkness, you just don't get it, you want the Wind part to be in there and thus try and come up with a crappy way to do so. Also, Robotropolis is only in darkness becuase it's under the world of light (thus in the world of darkness), watch the movie bonehead.
I know that already. But let me put it this way. As far as knights went in real life.... If the Dark Knight had a son and he became a knight he wouldn't be the Dark Knight, nor the Dark Night. Just because Sonic is Knight of the Wind it doesn't mean his son would be.

No, but Sonic and the Black Knight obviously took place there, and seeing as that is the ONLY time that Sonic is the Knight of the Wind... Which is your reason for calling Runnic that... well, it only makes since to try and use that time period to help you understand that you should either call him something else, or just let there be more than one Knight of the Wind.
I still maintain that it's a dumb naming method. You're complaining that I'm bringing up the way things worked in the past of knights, that sonic is only called that in the game, and thus proving my point... And yet you still act like it makes sense.
