Gah, naming characters sucks, I always hate names, we should all resort to a number system from this point on in time. I dibs 242! Since I doubt my number-names will take off good luck with naming him! Oh, and of course the character looks cute.

He's got some cool clothes on, makes him look very cute. Well done on the sketch!

After reading Riss's comment and studying the character, I think that you should name him Nine. Even though it's a number I think it makes a cool name too; and it seemed to fit him. When I'm making a new character, I usually always think of an awesome name while I'm drawing him/her and FAIL to write it down. Then I forget by the time I'm done and am angry at myself. >_<

For colors, I'd just say play around. He's got a cool design and I think just about anything would work. Though a vibrant burnt orange and dull navy blue color scheme is what came to mind!

Yeah, It's weird. I'll be drawing and then a random name will pop up out of nowhere. Usually they are not real names either; though I've had a few that I later found were already being used for other characters. I'll be interested to see what you decide on for him! Thanks for the watch to Machina!

Lol yeah, Looking at pictures for me usually either inspires me to draw or makes me feel worthless because I can't draw like my favorite artists. I like to look at other peoples' art, but my favorite thing to do is to create art that I actually am proud of and can say, "I really like this." I've only ever done that a select few of times over the past couple years. XD

Looking at pictures for me also makes me feel like it's pointless to try since I'm no where near as good as my favorite artists. I do however like most of my work too and have gotten over the fact that I can't just all of a sudden become a god like these other people. Generally I browse other peoples stuff for a couple hours (maybe more or less) and after looking at a few hundred pictures I'll be super inspired to draw something. XD Unfortunately I tend to just keep browsing most of the time and then when I finally want to draw I realize that I have to go to bed or do something else. >_< Oh, the life of an artist.. filled with all sorts of.. fun?
