i wanted to go back and do a slight touch up to my polumorphim’s visual physiology

its not a big change by any means, all ive done to is to make the innards and blood vessels more markedly red because these animals do have blood similar to other vertebrates. if you cut them open, they bleed red, and my previous iterations of the design lacked any sort of red coloration and they were just clear jelly

polumorphim dont actually have muscle tissue like other vertebrates. their hard tissue and innards are suspended in a plasma gel tissue, part of which is the reason why they are so flexible, the other being that their cell makeup in general is pluripotent which allows for their shapeshifting abilities

so yea. underneath opal and dante and all my other polum’s cute fleshy human exteriors lurks horrible translucent amoeba monsters
