Yeah, that dude on top is crazy. I mean, the fat line made of little pen lines he's made out of... that just looks so awesome.

The big guy at the top reminds me of Jamie. A close relitive, perhaps?

The four-fingered hand of devilry reaches through the crystalline void of blue to disconcert that dweller in a dark night of the soul, below, who ponders in turn the iconography of various religious faiths (Christian, Hindu, Jewish, Chickenal, and Dairy) as a means to ward off the spell of evil.

But glimpsed in the background, like relics of text on a palimpsest, is a vaguely unfolding farce with players of ink and wash -- a farce that negates the high, traumatic seriousness of the metaphysical struggle depicted here.

Of course, that's merely one interpretation. :)
