Bobby Thornbody came up with this chapter, since he really wanted to be a part of the ongoing project. Originally, Birch was going to figure it out simply because he had gotten the invitation as well, and had ignored it. Once he was told Dipper was missing, he put two and two together, and decided to check the party. Imagine his anger when he found Dipper there. But this scenario works well. This is actually a re-recording of the original chapter, as Bobby got much better at script reading and recording.
