After his break up with Sally, Clint underwent a period in his life where he remained single, focusing on work and how to be a success. And boy, did he succeed. By the time he was in his mid 20s, Clint DeRatry was already a rising star among the business-rodents of Ratropolis, having discovered a new milk-producing plant, Midreo, that previously could only grow in small patches on mountainous regions - but that Clint had discovered a way to cultivate the plant for it to grow in other, more fertile places, so that more of it could be produced, and thus supply the world with a higher quality of milk. Which could be used to make cheese and all other kinds of dairy-like products that rats are known to love. ;)

As you can imagine, Mr. DeRatry quickly began to catch the eye of many rodents, particularly rich and important ones. One rodent in particular was Miss Cheryl Murodia, a well-respected socialite of Ratropolis. Not to mention a stunning beauty, with a pelt of white fur that Clint found most attractive.

Just as Clint became one-half of a Power Couple with Sally in high school, so he did with Cheryl in high society. Nobody was surprised, but all were very pleased, when they heard the news that Clint had proposed to Cheryl, who gladly accepted. All was going very well...
