Well like, when it has its outer shell it's immune to status effects and has better defense. When the shell comes off its faster and can deal more damage c:

I've been wondering how, exactly, these forms will work out and if they plan to do some for other generations. I'm also sort of hoping they'll decided to make the regular Ninetails Fire/Fairy.
