Only a little, Elly, only a little. But, I guarantee, she IS having a good time.
So, how are your maternal skills? Baking is a wonderful thing, owning your own shop is great, but have you ever considered being a Mother? You know, the joys of taking care of a little one (no matter how big she is) are boundless.
Don't worry, I'm sure Star won't be asking anything of you, but that 'change' you offered her (even though it was a breakfast cereal), you could have a lot of fun with that, you know?
But, I can't speak for Star, you'll just have to ask her when she gets home how her day was, and did she enjoy herself.

Liking an idea in fantasy is far different from liking it in reality. Star needs Elly to respect her as an adult roommate who can "pull her own weight", so to speak, not to mention the repercussions back on the base.
A couple of Presidential elections ago in the US, someone asked Bill Clinton, "Boxers or briefs?" in an MTV Q&A thing.
Imagine if he had answered "Attends" or "Molicare"... Even if he liked it, even if humiliation was his thing, the campaign would have ended in that moment. Sometimes, things you like need to stay private, either wholly to yourself or between you and your partner who understands discretion.

The first time we see Lure in the comic he is clearly dressed and "forced" to act like a toddler with his diaper's waistband intentionally exposed IIRC. This isn't set in the real world. That "bunting bag" is no worse then snuggies were other then maybe the lame seal puns. As for the whole diaper thing she could change in her room or the restroom like plenty of AB/DL's do.
That's fair. But what Lure is comfortable with or Manda makes him do has no bearing on Star's comfort level. She also fantasized about her coworkers forcing her into diapers and babying her. In fantasy, humiliation is a powerful stimulus. In reality, it can be pure hell. As for changing in the bathroom, sure... Right up until one of her superiors or subordinates on base finds out. As I read it, she's not comfortable having the whole world know about her baby side. To me, Star seems very well-balanced insofar as managing the two (or more!) sides of her life.
Thankfully I haven't been in a situation where I'd have to refuse that offer. I live at home, but my mother knows (that I'm gay and a transvestite) and she's understanding (we have a rule: What happens in your room is your business), but I feel for Star. That outfit is too damn cute! ;-;
I highly respect that you bring in a very real aspect to this comic, I can understand how someone would feel bringing home something like that and having your roommate or family etc finding out. I don't currently have many things that I am scared of family or friends knowing about that I enjoy..
I am not into this myself - but I do love to learn about it and I love reading this comic. I can understand the controversy around this and how some people hide this aspect of their life from others because of the possibility of being discriminated against. I see it more and more now that I am learning more about it, which is weird how I never noticed it before..the amount of hate surrounding it. I find myself defending people more now then I have before when I didn't understand it.
I really appreciate this comic.
