Finally. Been wanting to draw these two forever now.
Today was highly stressful for me at work, and this was nice to unwind with.
We all knew they were lovers.
The episode itself held a mature story line.
((SPOILERS))
Basically, Kitty's "friend" Bunny was taken away from her by a jealous past lover,
Who was a dog and he obviously abused her verbally and physically.
She was forced to be around him and like him and she was so sad.
Kitty wore a mask to escape reality, hiding her identity in the beginning of the episode,
Most likely to hide her face from dogs.
They both hated dogs, and Courage wanted to know what was going on,
And eventually, he found Bunny and was able to save her from the abusive dog,
Making Kitty realize not all dogs were evil.
The episode concludes with Bunny and Kitty being reunited and happy.

I'm only passingly familiar with the show. I only ever saw the odd episode because it happened to be playing on the lobby television in a friend's residence hall when I was in college. But the story sounds like a really sweet one, and the art is just adorable. They do make a lovely couple and the look of joyful relief on the rabbit's face, and the proud protectiveness of her friend's expression make for a really beautiful and romantic moment. You have a real talent for finding just the perfect expression for each picture, and you've done a beautiful job of capturing their joyful reunion and the heart of their relationship that even without reading the story, you can get the gist of things, I think. Gorgeous work all around!
Aw, this is beautiful. Never saw the show, myself, but this is one of those pictures where you don't have to know the characters to have it really hit home. The tearful reunion between the two of them is just so powerful, and I love how Kitty is holding Bunny and letting her know that she is safe and loved. The story is a really cute one, though, and I don't blame you for wanting to draw them. They are a beautiful couple, and so pretty, too!
