Dana was originally just a nameless girl I conjured up to use in a short comic where she gets sexually assaulted by zombies that was loosely based on my own personal appearance. She's waaaaaaaaaay hotter than I am though. I mean, I'm not hot at all.
I ended up drawing her more often, making her the victim of various types of monster molestation. Eventually  k-tof and I started to discuss naming her. Tof absolutely refused to let me name her Zelda(  king-cheetah and  poinko already have a similar character named as such that follows the same principal of being vaguely based on myself), and at the time, I couldn't think of any other female names that started with Z(if I'd thought of Zoey, I'd probably be complaining how Valve stole my idea in L4D). Then I thought of Ghostbusters, and decided I could name her after the Gatekeeper, Zuul. Tof claimed it sounded too weird, so I decided to use Zuul's host's name instead. Eisenfrau is just an example of my poor knowledge of the German language that I thought up like....10 seconds ago.
