If it wasn't for wacom tablets and art programs on computers, my art (along with a considerable amount of others I'm sure) wouldn't be as clean, crisp, or as saturated as we may want them to be. Granted that traditional works are great as well, and the details in many are just as amazing, the colors and sharpness that you can get in digital seems to be much simpler to achieve than that of traditional mediums... at least in my opinions. I still love to work traditionally, but for right now I think digital works work the best for me.
As for this pic, it was just something I wanted to draw to take a break from all the bikini pics. Plus, I just got done watching some Hellsing at the time. :P

Yeah, you're dead on withthe Wacom tablet and Photshop deal man. "Amen to that brotha Barrin! *raises hands in the air* preach on! Preach on!" They're my bestest friends in the digital world of art. That's why when I do a project, most of the time, I get REAL lazy and not do any extra details knowing it will be done on PS. Great job with drawing (that's you I suppose?) the shadowy figure!
i still need to see shawn of the dead, but i have seen Hot Fuzz, which was pretty good too. :3 As far as the one who was rude on this pic, keep in mind that I don't mind criticism on any of my images. The whole thing can be negative if you want, but it must be constructive and of course not meant as an insult. Criticism is there to help improve others on what they need to work on, and I greatly respect those who do critique my works in a constructive manner.
It's ME!
Wait...no...dammit.
I concur on the digital art idea. My traditional inks are really good, I'll admit that. But lately I've been trying digital art. Eventually I plan on getting a scanner, inking traditionally and coloring digitally. I can't seem to make lineart that looks good digitally but that's just me.
