This song came to me as I was traveling with my family to our home the hill country. We were passing by a pasture full of beautiful horses, and a ray of sunlight broke through the clouds, percolating through the leaves of a great oak, sprinkling across the hides of a white Appaloosa couple.

I wanted to paint it or at least take a picture, but beauty like that can't be captured so easily. So I tried my hardest to do so in my music, in stead of a photo.
