Woo, another sequence! And this time I'm trying my hand at story-telling. Tell me what you think!
Today started off like any other summer weekend: woke up nice and early, had my set of blueberry pancakes with maple syrup, spend an hour looking for the right outfit to wear for running, spend another hour pulling my under-sized shorts over my doughy butt, and finally make my outside for a early morning jog. The ocean breeze felt nice and cool on my skin, which kept me from sweating like a pig in slaughter house as I burnt my ass fat. What interrupted another hum-drum day was the rich, sizzling smell of Chinese food. My stomach instinctively growled at the anticipation of Asian cuisine. Patting my eager belly, I made my way to a new food stand on the beach-walk. It looked very strange at first because it looked very old, like it had been here for ages. Soon that didn't matter because I took a glimpse at the owner. It was large, green, eastern dragon, boiling a set of fish balls in a china kettle. He looked wizened and hardened but his amber eyes sparkled with vigour. His entire form was round and large, which was barely contained by his taut clothes. His scales glistened in the sunrise, and his smile could ignite the coldest of hearts. After he gave me that enchanting smile, he handed me a skewer of the fish balls he was frying up. He made a gesture to ensure that it was on him and then he carried on with his cooking. I slowly turned and continued on my jog, holding the steaming skewer in my hand. By just looking at it, I could tell it had been cooked to perfection; the doughy ball was coated lightly with a golden sauce as the smell of rich seafood filled my nostrils. I slowly bit into it; savouring the soft chew of the dougg and the tang of the sweet sauce, as my mouth was filled with the rich, salty taste of mackerel and light spices. This balls were something else and I could not stop myself from quickly scothing down the tasty treats. My belly gurgled and rumbled with satisfaction as a homely warmth spread across my skin, and my shorts tightened...
Wait, what..? (To be continued...)
