You'd think, but they figured the games needed more motion controls so you kinda have to waggle gratuitously to get out. It's certainly doable but who has the time these days? :D

I'm really loving the variety in characters so far, but Ridley is always gonna be a special one. It's a shame he caught Samus Morph balling around like that, she can't even use her missiles or Screw Attack to get out. I'm loving the glow that you put in for Samus' suit, it looks so nice when it's beaming against Ridley's throat, kinda looks like a bit of a shock as well so I'm thinking it's like a system shutdown is happening, haha.

Wonderful sense of depth and lighting in the maw! And that's a very satisfying bulge in Ridley's normally thin throat, plus a clever use of his tail to help the morph ball fit down there. I love it, well done as usual!

Thanks!! I actually finished the shading on everything else before I finished the maw, and I had to restart a couple times in the mouth because it didn't look very good, haha! Eventually I decided I was spending too much time on it and slapped it together to post. ^v^
I like how Ridley's neck has that sorta kink in it, so you switch directions half way through. <:

This definitely wouldn't be the first time Samus has been eaten. Not even including the Queen Metroid as early as Metroid 2.
