Second, this is the second time we've seen Venti without his sunglasses.
Third, this is the first "mini comic" to go along with the story.
Fourth, enjoy!

"Five hours?" Venti said, looking at the paper in the backroom. "You mean to tell me I'm only working five hours this week?"
The badger looked meek as he stood there, barely reaching up to Venti's chest. "Hey, don't get angry with me, Venti. I'm only following orders from corporate. Business is bad. People aren't splurging for anything.
"I'm sorry, Rob. I'm not mad at you, I'm just having a bad week." He sighed heavily, and suddenly a button flew from his shirt, bouncing off the wall with a soft plink. "Oh, God damn it," Venti growled at the button as it rolled along the floor. "That is just freaking great."
Rob stepped back, wringing his hands together worriedly. "You're not going to lose your temper, are you? Jill said you had a--"
"Fuck Jill," Venti said, turning to face Rob a bit too fast, causing the badger to yelp and cover his head to ward off potential violence. Venti watched the badger, then looked down at his hands, expecting them to be balled up into fists. He felt relieved to see that they were unclenched. "I don't have a bad temper, Rob."
"I b-believe you, it's just that you could really do some damage even if you didn't want to hurt someone."
"I know that, Rob. It's why I walk really slow when at work. I'd hate to bruise you just from bumping into me."
"Just keep that in mind when you look angry. You intimidate a lot of people just by smiling."
"Oh, come on, my smile is far from intimidating."
"You're over nine feet tall and your arms are bigger than my waist. You actually mean to tell me you believe you're not intimidating just by breathing too deeply?"
Venti rubbed the back of his head slowly. "Well, you might have a point, but I try to be friendly."
"You still scare people, Venti. I didn't want to be the one to tell you, but you do. You scare people just by existing."
"Great. Just what I needed to hear, Rob. Wanna try and see if I can scare little kids out of their lunch money?"
Venti's day was getting worse.

Oops! He did it again!
Or maybe something like this?

Of course, with the corporate logo (doubtful , but hey, worth a try)
Why the gentle behemoth of a jackal has to hide himself after sunglasses? In the stories, he has a peaceful stare, albeit unusual irises. I believe he needs a hug after all.
