Welcome to Frappuchinos! Now Serving: Coffee Talk
"So, nice weather we're having," Singa said, handing Art a five dollar bill.
Art arched an eyebrow at the statement, then chuckled. "The weather is overcast and it's supposed to rain. You'll have to do better than that, Singa."
Singa grinned, rubbing a forearm, scratching a dyed spot. "I thought talking about the weather would be less awkward."
"You're here to ask how Venti's handling that Alexander guy, right?"
"Well, no. I'm here to ask how you're handling it."
Art looked up at the tall rainbow-spotted cheetah. "Me? Why?"
"You're Venti's boyfriend, and I'm sure whatever burdens he's carrying, you're carrying as well." Singa folded his arms across the little table used to serve the drinks. "Don't forget the nonfat milk," he said, pointing at the two percent carton Art was about to use.
"Oh! Sorry," Art crouched down to return the carton, grabbing the nonfat one.
"As I was saying, Venti and Alexander have a history, and it's a dark one. Did he tell you why he dislikes Alexander so much?"
"One story dealt with laxatives."
"Oh yes, our Alexander is quite the little prankster. I'm almost convinced he had something to do with Venti's luck in the photoshoot, so I'm at a loss as to how the bull will try to ruin it for our jackal." Singa noticed Art's hesitation at the mention of 'our'. "I speak of 'our' as purely in a friendship way, mind you."
"Don't worry, I'm just not used to...being friends with one of Venti's exes."
"Past history of old flames coming back to try and steal boyfriends from you?"
Art slowly nodded. "Once or twice." He placed the steam wand on the espresso machine into the pitcher full of milk, pulling down on the machine's handle to start the steaming process. "But I feel you're all right, Singa. You're the only ex Venti still speaks to, you know."
"I admit, Art, I did want Venti back as a boyfriend, but I had my chance."
"That's very big of you to say that."
"I'm over eight feet tall. Being big is easy."
Art rolled his eyes, then chuckled. "That's a Venti line if ever I heard one."

Charles seems like the guy who unintentionally fucks up his life without realizing it by what he says and does. It sounds like a person I knew in high school.
As for Venti and Bronx, I'm a bit anxious. I have a feeling Bronx will use the models and only publicize Charles, or make Venti infamous. Nothing very much to do with the gym itself.
I really wish I was big, but at the same time, I'm happy with my slender size. I don't need to change. I do like these snippets. I really do, so I should start from square one.

Well, I like it for the most part.~ I kind of jumped in the bandwagon late in the game, so there's a lot I need to discover with these characters. I think I started in the part where Venti's button comes off during his work hour, and he leaves upset. I am able to empathize with the emotions though, which I like a lot, and the details in the dialogue draw me in. Some of the names are unfamiliar, meaning I don't really have a face to associate each character with, but I was able to pick up some cues of who is what in the story roughly.
