Ahh I just like the thought of it ending on such an abrupt note, I'm easily pleased y'see! Was doing the transition from one colour to the next on that orange citra fiddly by the way, seems like it would be.

Fiddly mostly in the sense that I had to keep switching colors while drawing it. As for where to put them, that was mostly a natural reaction to where the water splash was going.

But I learned this AFTER graduating.

Actually, for that matter, I'm STILL LEARNING this stuff.

For example, this clip is the first time I've really used a loop in any of my animations (the little kid's bounce). The shot before this one is the first time I'd really used holds in animation to any good effect. Etc.

Really, the best way to learn this is to do it, and in school, since we were doing everything on paper, I didn't have the chance to do enough of it to learn it.

I like a lot of things about this video, but being in a hundred pieces isn't one of them.
